Mourning Ceremonies on the Eve of Arbaeen in the Holy City of Karbala
Coinciding with Arbaeen Hosseini, mourning processions gather at the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS), as well as in the area between the two shrines, joining the pilgrims who have made their way to Karbala to commemorate and mourn the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS).
