Iran athletes receive national flag at Imam Reza Shrine, set for Asian Games
The flag handover ceremony for the "Minab Angels" sports delegation heading to the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, took place on August 22. Held at Dar al-Quran in Imam Reza Shrine, the event featured Minister of Sport and Youth Ahmad Donyamali and National Olympic Committee President Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa presenting the national flag to the athletes. Reza Aminzadeh, CEO of Keramat Razavi Foundation’s Physical Education Institute, along with the families of the martyrs from the Shajarah Tayyibah Minab School, attended the ceremony, which also included an oath-taking ritual for the departing delegation.
