Funeral procession for security martyrs held in Mashhad
The funeral procession for the security martyrs, along with public condemnation of the recent unrest, was held in shrine city of Mashhad, northeast Iran, on January 12, 2026. Large crowds of devoted residents of the city accompanied the cortege from Basij Square toward Imam Reza shrine.
