Iraqi tribal sheikhs renew covenant with Martyred Leader in Razavi shrine

ذب
Imam Reza holy shrine has hosted a group of Iraqi tribal sheikhs and leaders stepping into shrine’s burial place of the Martyred Leader at Dar al-Zikr portico.

From the very moment of guests' arrival, holy shrine possessed a unique atmosphere. Servants of Imam Reza (AS), dressed in their service attire and carrying wild rue, welcomed these special guests—a welcoming gesture that carried fragrance of paradise and reflected deep respect for the Iraqi brothers.
Upon entering, Iraqi guests proceeded directly to the Enghelab courtyard and gathered in front of the steel window. Tears flowed from their eyes, and cries of "O Guarantor of the Deer" echoed through spiritual expanse of the courtyard. Hearts soared in atmosphere of the holy shrine, and a group photograph permanently captured this pure moment.
As they proceeded from Azadi courtyard into Dar al-Zikr portico, a different atmosphere prevailed. The space was filled with fervor and awareness, resonating with eulogies, elegies, chants of "Hayhat min al-Zillah" and "Labbayk ya Khamenei", and a renewal of allegiance that arose from depths of their souls.
In those moments, hearts were filled with tears and sighs—tears welling up from depths of the soul, sighs rising toward the heavens, and lamentations that only God could hear. It was as though Imam Reza (AS) himself had taken his guests by the hand and guided them along this spiritual path.
The spiritual ambiance of Dar al-Zikr portico was a place where earth and sky met; a place where Iraqi and Iranian hearts united in their love for Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and forged a new covenant—a covenant with the gracious Imam (AS), with the Martyred Leader, and with a path from which they will never turn back.
This visit and pilgrimage once again recalled deep religious, and historical bonds between Iraqis and Iranians—bonds rooted in centuries of coexistence, a shared love for Ahl al-Bayt (AS), and blood of martyrs, which never grows old. Iraqis and Iranians are two nations that resonate and share one heart in their love for Imam Hussein (AS) and Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
Hosting of Iraqi tribal sheikhs by chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, on behalf of the Supreme Leader, was undertaken to honor and pay tribute to those who organized magnificent funeral procession of the martyred Leader in Iraq. This action of Iraqi people demonstrates depth of mutual affection and respect between the two nations.
