AQR honors Iraqi tribal sheikhs active in funeral procession of the Martyred Leader

Speaking on the sidelines of the reception for the Iraqi tribal leaders at Shahid Hashemi-Nejad Airport, Feizi explained significance of their presence saying, “Based on the holy verse, "Is there any reward for excellence except excellence?", AQR has been granted the honor of hosting these dear guests, who have arrived as guests of the Supreme Leader.
He added: “Primary hosts of these guests are grateful people of Iran. In this regard, a number of leaders from brave tribes of Khuzestan are also accompanying these dear Iraqi guests on behalf of Iranian nation, due to their shared language and deep familiarity with tribal culture”.
AQR deputy custodian described these events and interactions as an effective step toward further strengthening deep cultural, religious, and historical ties between the two nations of Iran and Iraq.
It is noteworthy that ceremony to honor Iraqi and Khuzestani tribal sheikhs will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2026, with approximately 400 Iraqi and Iranian guests in attendance. Ayatollah Ahmad Marvi, chief custodian of AQR, will deliver a speech during the ceremony. Conclusion of this spiritual visit will be marked by participation in the Friday Prayer at Razavi shrine on Friday, October 31.
