Pilgrims walk toward Imam Reza Shrine
As final days of Safar, the 2nd month of lunar Islamic calendar, draw near, Old Nishapur Road along Malekabad–Mashhad route has taken on a different atmosphere. Walking pilgrims from various routes are making their way to Mashhad, northeast Iran, and Imam Reza Shrine.
