Hoj. Seyyed Jalal Hosseini said: “With the participation of the Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Documents Center and the Printing and Publishing Institute of AQR, this work was published in an edition of 1,000 copies this year.”
Hoj. Hosseini continued: “Mus’haf al-Hussein (AS) is actually the result of preparing high-quality images and conducting precise and scientific research on Quran No. 3382, of which only eight pages remained in the AQR Central Library.”
He stated: “This nine-line Quran, written in Kufic script, is also among the works donated by the Martyred Leader, Ayatollah Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to this library.”
The head of the organization added: “In addition to incorporating high-quality images in this publication, an introduction to the manuscript and its related features is provided in three languages—Persian, Arabic, and English—which can be of interest to researchers.”
Referring to Ali Sabetnia as the art director of the republication of this exquisite work, Hoj. Hosseini said: “The research, writing, and English translation of this work were carried out by Mahdi Sahragard, while its Arabic translation was done by Mahdyar Fadavi. Mohsen Ebadi served as the calligrapher, and Mohammad Ali Ramezani and Javad Abbasnia participated as photographers in the publication of this work.”
Hoj. Hosseini stated: “The Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Documents Center has undertaken this initiative in pursuit of AQR’s goal of achieving scientific authority and in fulfillment of its long-standing mission of introducing the precious heritage preserved in the Razavi Treasury.”
He further noted: “As handwritten Qurans attributed to the noble handwriting of the Infallible Imams (AS) hold a special and distinguished position and have always attracted the attention of scholars, this organization considers it its duty to make these precious works accessible to enthusiasts and researchers by publishing photographic editions of them.
