Custodians of Iran’s holy shrines issue statement condemning insult to Leader, denouncing recent terrorist attacks
The custodians of Iran’s holy shrines and sacred sites released a joint statement condemning recent insults directed at the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the wave of terrorist attacks across the country.

The custodians of Iran’s holy shrines and sacred sites issued a statement expressing strong condemnation of recent insults toward the Leader and the terrorist acts that have targeted the country.
The statement, published in defense of religious authority and the unity of the Islamic community, opened with a Quranic verse emphasizing divine support for believers.
The signatories expressed gratitude for what they described as divine assistance in confronting a broad campaign of violence carried out by hostile groups.
“The recent attacks, which resulted in the killing and injuring of many citizens and the destruction of mosques, religious centers, libraries and sacred sites, caused deep sorrow among the Iranian people”, they said.
The statement added that those responsible for these acts, whether inside or outside the country, would ultimately face consequences.
The statement also referred to what it described as repeated failures of foreign adversaries and criticized recent remarks made by the President of the United States. It warned that continued verbal attacks against the Leader would provoke strong reactions from believers and scholars and could destabilize the region.
The custodians reaffirmed their support for the Leader, describing him as the guide of the Islamic community and a symbol of resistance. They condemned any insult or affront to the position of the religious authority.
In the closing section, the signatories stated: “From the vicinity of Imam Reza shrine and other revered sites across Iran, we pray for the health and long life of the Leader, the dignity of the Iranian people and the downfall of the enemies of Islam. We pray for the appearance of the awaited savior, Hazrat Hojjat ibn al‑Hassan (the 12th Shia Imam)”.
The statement was signed by the custodians of Imam Reza Shrine, the shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh — Imam Reza’s sister — the shrine of Hazrat Ahmad ibn Musa al‑Kazem, the shrine of Hazrat Abdolazim Hassani, the Jamkaran Mosque, and the representatives of the Leader in the Endowments and Charity Affairs Organization and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
