Deputy custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, accompanied by a group of doorkeepers and servants of the holy shrine as well as several officials, attended Shahid Hashemi-Nejad Airport in Mashhad to welcome special guests of the eighth Imam (AS).
This delegation consists of a group of Iraqi tribal leaders and sheikhs who have traveled to Mashhad with the aim of honoring and paying tribute to the Iraqi nation for their magnificent participation in funeral procession of the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Ummah.
Observing traditional hospitality etiquette and customary protocols, Razavi servants welcomed Iraqi guests. Presence of Razavi servants in their formal service attire, their warm and sincere welcome, greetings, and accompanying guests upon their arrival served as a manifestation of respect and honoring of guests, upholding age-old tradition of Iranian-Islamic hospitality.
This presence of Razavi servants reflects special status of guests in Razavi culture and significance of profound religious, cultural, and historical ties between nations of Iran and Iraq.
This welcoming is a symbol of honoring guests at holy Razavi shrine and a manifestation of the culture of Iranian hospitality; a culture in which respect for elders, proper reception of guests, and providing grounds for their presence with peace and dignity hold a special place.
