In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The news of the passing of Mr. Sayyed Abdulkarim Nasrallah, the faithful and noble father of the esteemed martyr and pride of the Islamic world, Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, has brought sorrow.
Without doubt, the departure of a believing man in days associated with the birth of the Savior of humanity is a sign of a blessed end and a spiritual bond with the realm of expectation and guardianship. He was a father who spent his life in faith, sincerity and the upbringing of a devout generation—whose fruit was the nurturing of a son who today stands as a symbol of steadfastness, loyalty to the divine covenant and defense of the dignity of the Islamic Ummah.
From beside the radiant resting place of Hazrat Ali ibn Musa al‑Reza (peace be upon him), I extend my condolences to his esteemed family, especially to the brave and self‑sacrificing people of Lebanon. I ask the Almighty God to grant the departed His vast mercy, elevated ranks and reunion with his martyred son, and to bestow beautiful patience and great reward upon his honorable survivors.
May the soul of this noble father, by the blessing of these auspicious days and in recognition of his role in raising a righteous and striving son, be granted the special grace of Imam al‑Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance).
