Imam Reza’s teachings, “jihad of clarification” ensure invincibility of Resistance: Yemeni researcher

A Yemeni researcher emphasizes the strategic necessity of combining the Resistance movement with the political thought of the Prophet’s household to counter media warfare and global crises.

Sayyid Taha Adel Mohammad Mujahid, a Yemeni researcher and doctoral student at the University of Tehran, described the 6th Imam Reza International Congress as more than an academic session. He stated that it carries a strategic message for the Islamic world.
He highlighted the complexities of media wars against Islamic identity. He asserted: "The resistance movement led by the martyred Leader must align with the political thought of the Ahlul-Bayt to address current crises."
Reflecting on the life of Imam Reza regarding governance, the political scientist defined the nature of Islamic government as existing to serve divine duties and the interests of the people. He maintained: "Imam Reza, in one of the most difficult historical periods, intelligently navigated the political structure to maintain intellectual boundaries against deviated powers. This approach symbolizes the soft power and intellectual resistance that today’s world urgently needs."
Addressing the concept of resistance, he stressed: “It should not be limited to military and security dimensions. If resistance is built upon knowledge, it will be invincible."
He referred to the emphasis placed by the martyred Leader on the "Jihad of Clarification," describing it as an intelligent movement that defines the duties of elites, academics, and media against hegemonic currents.
Regarding the common ground among Muslims, he suggested focusing on shared values such as justice-seeking and fighting oppression. "Muslims must avoid becoming involved in sectarian disputes designed by hegemony. Instead, they should focus on the common language of resistance against oppression, which is rooted in Alawi and Razavi traditions."
Concluding his remarks, he called upon the youth to utilize science in the service of truth, asserting: "We must not fear artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. Rather, we should employ these tools to promote Imam Reza’s teachings and clarify the school of resistance, enabling Muslim elites to provide scientific and reasoned responses to global doubts."
