The Chief Justice during the closing ceremony of the 11th "Combatants in Exile" Assembly said  that confronting  the arrogance is an everlasting duty essential for preserving human dignity and establishing justice.

According to Astan News, Hojatoleslam wal-Moslemin Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, the Chief Justice, on Tuesday afternoon, November 3, 2026 (Aban 12, 1405) at the closing ceremony of the 11th International "Combatants in Exile" Assembly in Mashhad. clarified the Quranic roots of anti-arrogance, and stated: "Anyone who seeks to preserve human dignity and establish justice must, by virtue of reason, stand against arrogance."

Satan's Disobedience as the Earliest Example of Arrogance in the Quranic Narrative

Referring to the Quranic narrative about creation of human, Mohseni-Ejei identified Satan's disobedience to God's command as the first instance of arrogance. He added: "After his disobedience, Satan requested a reprieve and swore to divert humans from the path of servitude through various methods."

The Chief Justice noted that according to the Quranic narrative, Satan holds no dominion over the servants of God, adding: "This narrative demonstrates both the nature of arrogance and the necessity of confronting it from the very beginning of human creation."

Methods of Hegemony Against Nations

Mohseni-Ejei identified deception, breach of promises, and aggression as the methods used by arrogant powers to dominate other nations. Referring to the attacks against the Resistance Axis in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, as well as the confrontations with Iran, he warned: "Arrogant powers never give up to achieve their goals by attacking a country or a certain part of the Resistance Axis."

He noted that anti-arrogance in the ideology of Imam Khomeini (may God's mercy be upon him) and the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may God sanctify his pure soul) stems from the teachings of Islam, emphasizing: "Standing against hegemony is not limited to a specific time or place."

Self-Purification and Identifying the Enemy are Essentials for Confronting Arrogance

Mohseni-Ejei identified self-purification and resisting carnal desires as requirements for standing against arrogance, stating: "To confront global arrogance, a roadmap must be established, and action must be taken simultaneously across military, intelligence, economic, and cultural areas."

He described reforming economic structures, improving the people's livelihood, and strengthening the nation's economic capabilities as necessities for this confrontation.

The Chief Justice also emphasized on the importance of identifying the enemy's methods in the cultural arena, saying: "The enemy must be identified through their actions and the extent of their adherence to commitments; one must not trust their promises."

247 Nights of Streets Attending: People's Role in  counterplotting

Referring to the 247 nights of continuous attending in the streets across the country, Mohseni-Ejei stated: "People from all social levels, despite job and family responsibilities, continued to show up in the streets."

He described the continuity of this presence as a divine blessing and emphasized the necessity of keeping it on.

The Chief Justice concluded by stating: "The enemy had taken Iran's missile capabilities and the power of military commanders into account, but had not predicted the continuous presence of the people in the streets."

Highlighting the role of intelligence forces and the judiciary in confronting domestic conspiracies, he attributed the thwarting of these plots to the presence of the people
