AQR's Custodian extends message of condolences on Leader’s martyrdom
“The pure blood of the Leader will guarantee the greatness of Iran and Islam, and strengthen the resistance.” The condolences message of the Custodian of Astan Qods Razavi reads as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Today, words are insufficient to express our heartfelt sorrows. The martyrdom of Ayat. Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, this indefatigable Mujahid of the Iranian nation and the true servant of Imam Reza, has left a deep sorrow in the hearts of the Islamic world and his fervent lovers.
He was a Leader who would serve before ordering; would understand people’s suffering before speaking; and would for years suffer hardship alone before calling for resistance. He was, thus, martyred at the hands of the most wicked creatures on earth. Faith, fortitude, wisdom, courage and kindness were intertwined in his character, and it was this very divine spirit that held together millions of hearts on the path to grandeur, hope and resistance.
Without a doubt, this heinous crime not only will not block the path of righteousness, but will also open a new chapter in Muslims’ awakening. The pure blood of this untiring Mujahid (Muslim warrior) will guarantee the greatness of Iran and Islam, and strengthen the resistance. The unity of the great Iranian nation and Muslim Ummah, and the persistence of resistance, will best preserve the valor of this divine leader – which was rooted in faith, rationality, and defense of human dignity.
Today, at Imam Reza Shrine, we are mourning the loss of a figure who was himself a paragon for servants of the shrine, and truly devoted his entire life serving Islam, Iran’s Revolution and nation. His martyrdom is not the end of his path; rather, it is just the beginning of the eternal life for a mentality and route that was endorsed with his pure blood.
I have been honored to know and accompany this great man; a man whose lofty standing never tampered with his humbleness; a man who wholeheartedly deemed himself a servant of Imam Reza. Overwhelmed with a solemn grief, I, herewith express my sincere condolences to Imam Mahdi, grand Ayatollahs, Iranian nation, Muslim Ummah, his surviving children, and all his fervent lovers across the globe.
