Selection of new leader marks continuation of Islamic Revolution discourse

Selection of new leader marks continuation of Islamic Revolution discourse
The selection of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as new Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran is indeed continuation of discourse of the Islamic Revolution and its two Imams, says Hoj. Abolfazl Tabatabaei Ashkezari, manager of Jabal al-Sabr International Institute, adding, “We reconfirm our national pledge by taking the oath of allegiance to the new leader”.

Regarding role of leadership, Hoj. Tabatabaei said: “Position of leadership in the Islamic Revolution is pivotal to the Ummah and axis of coordination of powers. It is the leader of the system who is responsible for general guidance of the society and it is him who ensures full movement of the country towards original Islamic ideals”.
Referring to the sensitive times following martyrdom of late Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, he said: “What was clearly seen after martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei was a public concern in the society; however, quick and smart picking of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei by the Assembly of Experts changed this anxiety into a strong public determination and showed enemies that Islamic Republic will continue its path by relying on God”.
Ayatollah Tabatabaei, pointed out: “The most important practical step for the elite and the general public is making allegiance to the new leader of the Islamic Ummah. This allegiance will boost Iran’s defense leverage of national unity against all domestic and foreign plots. It is a guarantor for Iran’s increasing dignity and independence”.
