Imam Hussein Shrine servants gather at Imam Reza Shrine for Tawassul prayer recitation
Pilgrims, servants, and representatives of holy shrine of Imam Hussein gathered at Imam Reza Shrine, in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad, for collective recitation of Tawassul prayer on the 40th day  of late Leader’s martyrdom.

Simultaneous with the 40th day of late Leader’s martyrdom, a spiritual ceremony of collective recitation of Tawassul prayer was held on April 10, at 20:00 in Enghelab Eslami Courtyard of Imam Reza Shrine.
The gathering was held under the auspices of Astan Qods Razavi on behalf of the Iraqi Resistance fighters and martyr Abu Mahdi al‑Muhandis.
Servants and representatives of Imam Hussein Shrine attended the ceremony together with servants of Imam Reza Shrine and a large number of pilgrims and local residents.
The program began with the arrival of blessed flags of shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother Hazrat Abbas. Presence of these sacred flags created a spiritual atmosphere among pilgrims gathered in the courtyard.
During the ceremony, they invoked Ahl al‑Bayt and collectively prayed for hastening reappearance of Imam Mahdi, the 12th Imam in Shia Islam.
Participants also commemorated Iraqi Resistance fighters and martyr Abu Mahdi al‑Muhandis. Through their prayers, they honored the memory of martyrs and renewed commitment to path and ideals of sacrifice represented by Resistance martyrs.
The ceremony was broadcast live on Channel 3 of national television, allowing people across the country to join the spiritual gathering at Imam Reza Shrine.
