Ahmadi says the laboratory is not a diagnostic unit for the shrine; it is in fact part of a service chain to those who have come to the holy shrine with hope and reliance on God. “Quality is an integral principle in our job and internal as well as external quality control are done continuously by inspectors during the year”.
Ahmadi said: “All of our methods are consistent with the requirements of the latest world standards and technical staff of the center are those who work with a kind of multilateral capability in each sector”.
Referring to the highly advanced devices of the center, he noted: “Different measures have been taken from the beginning up to the end so that clients of the Dar al-Shifa experience a very easy process during their presence at the center”.
The official went on to say: “Almost all routine tests are now done at the center and pathology department is also open to give services to clients including the Pap Smear diagnostic test. Our goal has always been to give best kind of services to all pilgrims particularly those coming from long distances in a way that they don’t need to go downtown for a simple test”.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ahmadi stressed: “The center is now planning to buy new equipment for covering tests needed by cardiac and thalassemia patients”.
Concluding his remarks, he said: “Sampling services are also given outside of the Dar al-Shifa building at homes of the old and disabled patients as well”.
