AQR mobile library donates thousands of books to cultural centers
More than 12000 printed books were donated to several cultural and educational institutions inside Iran and abroad during Karamat Ten-Day festivities through the mobile and telephone library services of Astan Qods Razavi (AQR).

According to Hoj. Seyed Jalal Hosseini, head of the Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Documents Center of Astan Qods Razavi: “Some 12,050 printed books were donated to five institutions during Ordibehesht 1405 (April–May 2026)”.
He explained that the initiative was carried out in response to requests from scientific, cultural, and educational centers and included books in various fields selected according to the needs of each institution and its audience.
Hoj. Hosseini added: “Five thousand books were delivered to the Public Libraries Institution of Faridan in Isfahan Province. Another 2,050 books were donated to the library of Khatam al‑Anbiya Mosque in Qamsar, Kashan, while two thousand copies were provided to the Fadak Sabz Tous Quranic Institute”.
He said that two thousand books were also donated to the Razavi Pharmaceutical Services Institute during the celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Imam Reza.
Hoj. Hosseini further noted: “Under the aegis of the mobile and telephone library of AQR, one thousand books were sent to Samangan Province in Afghanistan as part of Karamat Ten-Day festivities. These donations aim to strengthen cultural exchange and expand access to knowledge beyond national borders”.
In addition to these donations, the organization launched a separate initiative to distribute books to 168 schools across the country, prioritizing deprived and underprivileged areas. The program was initiated to commemorate the memory of the martyred students of Shajareh Tayebeh School in Minab.
“These activities are intended to promote cultural equity, encourage reading, and support the growth of educational and cultural infrastructure through the capabilities of AQR’s mobile and telephone library services”, Hoj. Hosseini emphasized.
