Referring to the cultural role of AQR in the Muslim world, the Iranian ambassador described presence of the "Under the Shadow of the Sun" caravan in Yerevan as an opportunity to strengthen spiritual bonds and introduce cultural identity of Islamic Iran abroad.
Shirgholami considered presence of the caravan in various countries a valuable step in spreading Razavi culture. “Such cultural programs provide significant capacities for connecting with different communities and explaining teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS)”.
Later in the ceremony, Gholamreza Kahlaki, director of planning and supervision at deputy office for international affairs of AQR, stated: “Imam Reza (AS) has prayed for servants and cultural activists who strive to revive cause of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in different parts of the world”.
Referring to the spiritual needs of today’s societies, Kahlaki added: “Amidst a crisis of meaning, today’s man is thirsty of the truth and it is the duty of cultural activists to explain the beauties of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) words and teachings and convey sublime Razavi concepts”.
Continuing its programs in Armenia, "Under the Shadow of the Sun" caravan, visited "Shahid Fahmideh" School in Yerevan, bringing the Razavi atmosphere to the students of this educational center. Shahid Fahmideh International School in Yerevan is an educational center operating under the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During this program, blessed flag of Imam Reza holy shrine was displayed among the students and they visited the flag in an atmosphere full of joy and enthusiasm.
This year’s spiritual ceremony of "Under the Shadow of the Sun" was held during Karamat Ten-Day festivities at Blue Mosque in Yerevan, with the participation of a group of resident Iranians, Shias, and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
Mohammad Asadi Movahed, Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia, and Hoj. Rostami, Friday prayer leader of the Blue Mosque, were also in attendance in this ceremony.
