Media activists should follow path of truth, righteousness
Media outlets and cyberspace activists must not deviate from path of truth and righteousness and consider this mission as a key activity during era marked for the advent of Imam Mahdi (AS), says Hoj. Ali Khayyat, director of Khorasan Seminary School, adding, media activists must not abandon pious etiquette in their path as well.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the second Salman International Media and Cyberspace Festival, which was held in Mashhad, Hoj. Khayyat said: “In the past, the main mission of the media was merely to inform and convey messages; however, media has reached a stage of intellectualism, meaning production, and profound influence these days. Global powers also pay special attention to this issue”.
The director of Khorasan seminary school continued: “Salman Festival aims to develop networking. Cyberspace activists have many right words to express. This right becomes blessed when virtual activists are together and act unitedly so that real networking can take shape”.
Also, Hoj. Shahab Moradi, addressing media activists, stated: “The word empathy is a symbol in Iranian literature and culture and a recommendation of the religion of Islam. Empathy of people during the Sacred Defenses against Iraq and the Zionist regime greatly helped country's situation in such a way that no one thought this empathy would be so effective at that time.
Hoj. Ehsan Kafshdar Tousi, secretary of the second Salman International Media and Cyberspace Festival, stated: “After the U.S.-Israeli 12-day war, this festival was formed with the question of how to confront organized hegemony of disbelief and oppression in the world.”
He clarified: “We concluded that there is no way other than global empathy, because if hearts become closer and commonalities become prominent and differences diminish, then the enemy becomes vulnerable. Therefore, this path paves the way for the advent of Imam Mahdi (AS)”.
He further stated: “If we want to do something lasting for Imam Mahdi (AS) and create global empathy, we must have gatherings”.
Hoj. Kafshdar Tousi added: “Having gatherings is important in itself. According to the statements of Ayatollah Bahjat (RA), the hardships and trials of man in the hereafter will be alleviated when people's hearts become closer”.
Hoj. Kafshdar Tousi concluded his remarks saying, “The 12-day war brought hearts closer, but the enemy tried to destroy this empathy with subsequent events. In the midst of this, however, we saw how empathy was re-established. The opportunity lies precisely within these crises”.
