Razavi University, al-Mustafa International University launch joint cooperation center

In a meeting with Hojjatoleslam Farzaneh, head of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences (RUIS), Hojjatoleslam Saeedi Fazel, head of the Mashhad branch of al-Mustafa International University, announced the launch of activities of the joint cooperation center established by the two seminary-based institutions.
The center has been established to consolidate and expand cooperation between the two institutions in the educational, research, cultural, and international fields. One of its key areas of activity is to organize the recruitment and education of international students at Razavi University of Islamic Sciences.
The head of the Mashhad branch of al-Mustafa International University said: “Through this center, international students of Razavi University will be introduced to al-Mustafa International University and, after completing the procedures for obtaining student codes, will be able to use the university’s residential, seminary, and service facilities.”
Hojjatoleslam Saeedi Fazel added: “These services will continue throughout the students’ period of study and will be provided in proportion to their academic progress.”
He also announced the possibility of offering a PhD program in Economics at Razavi University through the center, saying: “Within the framework of joint cooperation, the groundwork will also be laid for establishing new academic fields and cooperation in fields in which either of the two institutions holds the necessary license.”
The head of the Mashhad branch of al-Mustafa International University said that three memorandums of understanding had been signed between Razavi University of Islamic Sciences and al-Mustafa International University, the latest of which was signed on October 14, 2024.
He cited holding joint classes and the mutual introduction of students as examples of existing cooperation and added: “The potential of these interactions, particularly in the recruitment of international students and research activities, needs to be further developed.”
Expressing satisfaction with the launch of the joint cooperation center, Hojjatoleslam Farzaneh, head of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, said the center provides an opportunity to expand interaction between the two institutions.
Referring to the importance of addressing the issue of international student recruitment, Hojjatoleslam Farzaneh said: “The establishment of this center and the consolidation of cooperation within a specific framework can pave the way for greater mutual benefits.”
Referring also to Razavi University’s mission of meeting the scientific and specialized needs of Astan Qods Razavi, its head emphasized the expansion of cooperation with al-Mustafa International University in the educational, research, and international fields.
