Imam Reza Intl. University, Razavi University expand international cooperation

The presidents of IRIU and RUIS met to implement joint memoranda of understanding and expand scientific, educational, and international cooperation. 
The meeting was part of a series of discussions held by the boards of the two institutions, which operate under the aegis of Astan Qods Razavi (AQR), with the aim of leveraging their respective academic and operational capacities.
Ebrahim Davoodi, Director of International Affairs at Imam Reza International University, highlighted the university’s extensive experience in hosting international students, conducting joint programs, and organizing international conferences. 
He noted: “These capacities are now being aligned with those of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences”.
“It has been agreed that each university will make its capabilities available to the other to advance scientific, educational, research, and international programs,” Davoodi said.
One practical example of this synergy was a recent mission to Iraq during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. Through coordination between the two institutions, representatives of Razavi University participated in several international forums, including a seminar titled “The Arbaeen Pilgrimage and Transformations in the Digital Age,” held at the University of Hilla. These efforts resulted in the signing of two scientific cooperation agreements with the University of Hilla and the Islamic University of Najaf.
During their recent meeting, the presidents focused on expanding international activities, attracting foreign students, exchanging faculty members and students, and implementing joint scientific projects. They underscored the importance of leveraging the capacities of both institutions to promote the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt worldwide. The two presidents also emphasized the need for continued expert-level meetings to finalize cooperation memoranda and strengthen research partnerships between the two prominent academic institutions.
