“Rezvan Pilgrimage” program wins first rank in offering services to foreign pilgrims
“Rezvan Pilgrimage” special program organized by Astan Qods Razavi’s Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs has won first rank among eight top programs of AQR’s Deputy Office for Islamic Publicity, says, Mahdi Lesani, manager of the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs.

Lesani said: “Rezvan Pilgrimage has been planned for non-Iranian pilgrims of the shrine and it is considered as one of the evolutional programs of the organization attracting attention of AQR custodian.”
He added: “In this program, foreign pilgrims of the shrine are identified as soon as they arrive in the city. The group is welcomed by Razavi servants carrying holy shrine’s flag when entering the complex. This takes place when groups of foreign visitors are registered in Nasim Rezvan application”.
Lesani went on to say: “Arriving at the holy shrine, foreign pilgrims are directed to those porticos under management of the office to receive different cultural programs in their mother languages. English-speaking pilgrims of the shrine receive their programs at Nations Portico, Azeri- and Arabic-speaking pilgrims in Dar al-Rahmah Portico and Urdu-speaking pilgrims receive their specialized programs at Ghadir Portico of the complex”.
According to Lesani, in his special program, services and pilgrimage rituals are presented and the holy shrine is introduced in a short video clip. Pilgrims also enjoy such services as a guide if needed during their stay at the city. “Pilgrims have an opportunity to get to know about Imam Reza’s conduct in different languages in an exhibition titled “The Tale of the Sun”.
Lesani added: “To familiarize pilgrims with Islamic teachings, some courses of knowledge such as "contemplation in the Quran" are presented to them”.
Pointing to the special programs offered to pilgrims from Central Asia and Indian Peninsula, manager of AQR’s Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs brought his remarks to end, saying: “According to a research conducted on the effect of this program, it became clear that the program has had a good impact in terms of conveying Imam Reza’s conduct in a way that it got 93 out of 100 and ranked first among other programs of the organization pursuing the same mission”.
