Imam Reza Shrine commemorates 40th day of martyrdom of late Leader
Imam Reza Shrine, in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad, has held a ceremony marking the 40th day of martyrdom of late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, with devotees and shrine officials in attendance.
The program will be held on Wednesday and Thursday evening, April 8 and 9, at 19:30 in Grand Imam Khomeini Portico of Imam Reza Shrine, hosting mourners commemorating martyrdom of late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayat. Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
It will include elegy recitation and epic mourning chants by eulogist of Ahl al‑Bayt.
Recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, recitation of Ziyarat Aminollah, chorus recitation performances, religious poetry presentations, and declamation by Razavi youth will be among other parts of the ceremony.
