‘The Tale of Sun’ exhibition at Imam Reza Shrine welcomes Indian, Russian pilgrims
Hundreds of visitors from Iranian cities and abroad attend cultural program highlighting stories of the Prophet (pbuh) and the Ahl al-Bait.

The “Tale of Sun” exhibition at Imam Reza Shrine hosted 620 pilgrims on November 18, including visitors from Iranian cities such as Isfahan, Karaj, Tabriz and Kashan, as well as 100 non-Iranian pilgrims from Azerbaijan, Russia and India.

Organized under the auspices of the Deputy Office for Islamic Ideology Dissemination’s pilgrimage promotion section, the exhibition is part of cultural-religious programs designed to enrich the spiritual experience of visitors.

According to Mohammadreza Rezaei, head of the pilgrimage promotion office at the shrine’s children’s center, “The exhibition receives between 200 and 500 pilgrims daily, arriving in groups from across Iran and other countries”.

He explained: “The exhibition aims to present the spiritual dimensions of pilgrimage and narrations from the life and conduct of Prophet Muhammad and the Ahl al-Bait. The program features eight live dramatic stories performed twice daily, in the morning and afternoon”.

Themes include the wages of a worker, the Prophet’s nightly assistance to a believer, and his participation in the funeral of a companion in Medina.

Rezaei noted that various cultural and artistic groups contribute to the performances. The exhibition is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the southern side of the Prophet Muhammad courtyard, near Bab al-Hadi portico.

The program will continue until the end of the current year and has already received good welcome from visiting caravans across different cities.
