The second international congress on the governance model of the martyr Ebrahim Raeisi, the 8th president of Iran, was held at Quds Hall of the Central Library of Astan Qods Razavi (AQR).
The event was attended by Dr. Jamileh Alamolhoda, martyred president’s wife, former Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili, and various scholars from seminaries and universities.
The secretary of the congress, Meysam Lotfi, noted: "The objective of holding this congress is to transform the style and conduct of martyr Ebrahim Raiesi and his governance into a lasting model for the present and future of the country, rather than merely remembering him."
Highlighting the previous edition, Lotfi stated: “The event was organized in cooperation with the International Foundation of Martyr Raiesi and the Think Tank for Governance and Statecraft”.
"We have endeavored to address new dimensions of the personality of the martyred president from a precise, scholarly perspective so that this event does not remain a simple exercise in memory", he emphasized.
Lotfi went on to say: "Following the emphasis of the Leader, Ayat. Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and the martyred Leader Ayat. Seyyed Ali Khamenei on moving beyond memory-writing toward established models, our goal is to achieve a governance model on the level of the Islamic Revolution."
The congress featured five specialized sessions on educational governance, methodology, and higher education.
Concluding his remarks, Lotfi asserted: "Based on the successful three-year experience of the government of the martyred president—which offered hope for solving many of the country's economic and systemic problems—we must utilize this capacity to address the nation's critical issues."
