At the 125th session of High Council for the Arts, officials reviewed artistic productions related to Ramadan War and listened to a report on activities of Astan Qods Razavi’s Institute of Artistic Creations, whose artists produced more than 86 works in response to developments on resistance front.

Artistic activities of Astan Qods Razavi (AQR) were presented at national level during the 125th session of Iran’s High Council for the Arts, chaired by Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi.
The meeting focused on artistic productions tied to the Ramadan War and a comprehensive report by AQR’s Institute of Artistic Creations.
Amir Mahdi Hakimi, director of AQR’s Institute of Artistic Creations, highlighted over 86 works produced across disciplines—including graphics, music, animation, documentaries, and anthems—to address developments on the resistance front.
“The institute plays a big role in supporting grassroots movements; for instance, the international music video ‘My Hero’ in English and a documentary series on Iran are key projects in that respect”, he emphasized.
Hakimi noted: “Razi-inspired art has strengthened connections between professional art and societal concerns, particularly through initiatives like ‘Ravayat-e Yek Negah’ (Narrative of a Glance)”.
Elsewhere, culture and Islamic guidance Minister Salehi praised the diversity of AQR’s productions and stressed the need to improve media infrastructure for preserving and promoting such works.
He identified three gaps in sustaining these efforts: establishing a centralized database, ranking artistic products, and enhancing visibility. He also urged the council’s secretariat to prioritize these issues.
The session also featured a presentation by the Institute of Culture, Art, and Communications on the role of art in boosting social resilience during crises. Council members discussed leveraging artistic tools to manage societal challenges.
Noting AQR’s high-quality output, officials agreed to prepare proposals for archiving these works in the historical memory of the Islamic Revolution’s art. Follow-up sessions will review implementation plans.
