Iran, Iraq solidarity symbol of Islamic Ummah unity: Custodian

Ayat. Ahmad Marvi, the Custodian of Astan Qods Razavi, met with the custodian and servants of Imam Ali Shrine on May 14 in Mashhad, northeast Iran, expressing hope that they would be blessed with the special attention of Imam Reza. He asked them to convey greetings to Imam Ali, the 1st Shia Imam.
He praised the Iraqi nation, the holy shrines in Iraq, and the grand religious authority—especially Ayat. Sistani—for their support during the pressures and war imposed by enemies against Iran. 
“The Iraqi people used all their capacities to support Iran in this critical time, and Iran will never forget this brotherly support”, Ayat. Marvi highlighted.
He stressed: “This unity reflects a profound and unbreakable bond between the two nations in front of the United States and the Zionist regime, which remain the common enemies of Iran, Iraq, and the entire Islamic Ummah”.
Referring to the damage caused during the third imposed war, the top official emphasized Iran's victory, asserting: “Despite suffering heavy losses, the enemy failed to achieve any of its aims”. 
“The misguided assumption of the U.S. president was that with the martyrdom of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution and a number of senior officials and commanders, the system would collapse,” he explained, adding “However, the system demonstrated resilience and strength, and we saw divine support and the attention of the Infallible Imams, especially Imam Reza and Imam Mahdi, during this period”.
He concluded with a hope that Allah would turn the wrath of America, the Zionist regime, and all oppressors back onto themselves, increasing the dignity, power, and pride of the Islamic Ummah—an honor that will be achieved by the followers of Imam Ali.
For his part, Sayyed Eisa al-Kharsan, Custodian of Imam Ali Shrine, thanked AQR for its generous hospitality from their arrival in Mashhad until their visit to Imam Reza Shrine. 
He stated: "Hearing reports about extensive services AQR provides to pilgrims was not surprising to me, as I was already aware of high quality of service to guests of Imam Reza, esteemed status of service among this holy sanctuary's servants". 
He expressed that witnessing the scope of services firsthand during his short visit deeply impressed him. “A key goal of his trip was to express solidarity with the Iranian nation and servants of Imam Reza Shrine following the war's hardships.” 
He mentioned his delegation began their journey by visiting the shrine of Imam Reza's son in Dezful (southern Iran), where plans were made to restore the damaged Sabzeh Qaba Shrine. 
He added that in Tehran they met with families of martyrs of the war, which had a significant impact on those honored families.
