Karamat Razavi Foundation mobilizes vast human, executive capacities to provide food, accommodation, welfare services for 20,000 pilgrims attending funeral procession of Martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Mashhad, northeast Iran.

Jafar Raisianzadeh, Deputy of Social Services at Karamat Razavi Foundation, an affiliate of Astan Qods Razavi (AQR), the body in charge of Imam Reza Shrine in Mashhad, announced the comprehensive mobilization of all operational capacities to render services to mourners attending the funeral procession of the Martyred Leader.
"Karamat Razavi Foundation has engaged servants, volunteers, and people’s groups to ensure that accommodation, catering, and welfare services are provided with optimal quality in Mashhad, northeast Iran", he stated.
According to him, service provisions commence along the routes leading to the city.
Raisianzadeh explained: “Between 15 and 20 roadside mukibs will be established on main arterial roads to provide refreshments for pilgrims traveling to participate in this spiritual event. Operations within the city are designed around two primary axes. First, the foundation will support approximately 200 volunteer-led mukibs by supplying subsidized essential items. Second, 30 mukibs established under the auspices of Imam Reza Shrine will be set up at the vicinity of the funeral procession and the perimeter of Imam Reza Shrine. These service stations will focus on mourning assemblies and the distribution of at least one million meals daily”.
To ensure consistent supply, three logistical headquarters—located at Tar-e Pol-e Mahalleh, Shahid Shushtari, and the central organization—will utilize industrial kitchens, cold storage, and specialized bakeries.
Raisianzadeh went on to say: "These facilities will enable the production and distribution of 200,000 loaves of bread and up to 100,000 warm meals daily."
Furthermore, four dedicated water fountains will distribute 100,000 liters of cool refreshments daily. Comprehensive planning ensures accommodation for 20,000 mourners across various facilities, including the Razavi Pilgrim City and Imam Reza schools.
Raisianzadeh asserted: "The culture of generous service is the central focus of our activities, and we aim to showcase the spirit of Imam Reza’s hospitality through sincere service to these mourners."
