Jafar Raeisianzadeh, deputy of social services at Astan Qods Razavi’s Karamat Razavi Foundation says the Foundation has mobilized extensive resources to serve pilgrims and mourners on the eve of the funeral ceremony of the Martyr Leader and his honorable family. According to him, a wide range of services, including catering, accommodation, support for the Mukibs (pilgrim service stations), and the provision of essential supplies for mourners, is being delivered by mobilizing volunteers and community resources.

Stating that three central and support Mukibs will be established to support other Mukibs located around Imam Reza Shrine, Raeisianzadeh added: “These Mukibs do not provide direct services to pilgrims, rather they are in charge of supporting about 200 to 300 Mukibs active around the holy shrine”.
He added: “The necessary infrastructure has been put in place at these support Mukibs to provide bread, bottled drinking water, ice, and meals, so that several bakeries are stationed in each Mukib, and trailers equipped with cold storage will be also in charge of storing and distributing cold bottled water. Additionally, each Mukib has the capacity to prepare 50 thousand to 100 thousand bottles of cold water in each shift”.
Deputy of social services at Karamat Razavi Foundation listed deployment of ice-making machines with a daily production capacity of 1,000 ice blocks in each Mukib, saying, “This capacity is intended to support other Mukibs and improve quality of catering services and distribution of snacks”.
Raeisianzadeh mentioned providing food needed by pilgrims and mourners for lunch and dinner meals as another mission of these Mukibs, saying: “Cooking and providing food for distribution among pilgrims will be done through these stations”.
Referring to the deployment of 20 Mukibs to Rah-Bagh Rezvan area, he stated: “These Mukibs will serve pilgrims and mourners for three days by providing snacks and hot meals”.
Noting that infrastructure and facilities required for these Mukibs have been provided by Astan Quds Razavi, Raeisianzadeh went on to say: “Executive and catering services in these Mukibs will be carried out by Razavi servants and personnel”.
Pointing to launching of four Imam Reza Saghakhanehs |(traditional water-dispensing pavilions) around the Razavi shrine, he stressed: “These water dispensing pavilions will provide services to pilgrims and mourners for three days with a daily distribution capacity of 100,000 liters of various natural syrups and cold drinks”.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Raeisianzadeh referred to the launch of a central bakery outside the holy shrine and added: “This center will begin its work on Tuesday with a daily production capacity of nearly 200,000 loaves of bread”.
Deputy of social services of Karamat Razavi Foundation further noted: “Preparations have been made for three-day accommodation of 20,000 people in complexes affiliated with AQR and in Mukibs on Martyr Shoushtari Street”.
He mentioned: “There will be a headquarter aiming to support about 300 grass-root Mukibs responsible for providing necessary catering items”.
Raeisianzadeh added: “Nine basic data-x-items including rice, oil, tomato paste, pasta, lentils, sugar, tea, juice, and cake will be provided to popular Mukibs for free or at subsidized rates starting on Tuesday July 7.
He concluded: “In addition to the above-mentioned services, other programs in the field of service delivery, especially on routes leading to Mashhad, have been anticipated, the details of which will be announced by specialized departments”.
