Imam Reza Shrine’s deputy office of sacred premises says pilgrimage and service rendering to Razavi pilgrims will continue without interruption during days of the funeral and burial ceremonies of the Martyred Leader.

According to the planning carried out in Astan Qods Razavi, the possibility of doing pilgrimage by the pilgrims of Imam Reza (AS) will not be disrupted while holding the magnificent farewell ceremony for the Martyred Leader.
Accordingly, all surrounding courtyards of the Razavi complex will remain open to pilgrims and residents as usual and without restrictions during the funeral ceremonies.
Based on plans, pilgrimage restrictions are only assigned to the central courtyards and porticos. These restrictions will gradually begin from the evening of Wednesday, July 8, and will continue until the end of the ceremony.
This change in pilgrims’ movement pattern is carried out with the aim of providing necessary preparations for precise execution of official formalities and maintaining order in the main premises of the holy shrine.
The holy shrine’s deputy office for sacred premises requests pilgrims to cooperate with servants in the process of temporarily evacuating central courtyards and preparing spaces for the worthiest execution of this historical ceremony.
It is also emphasized that pilgrims use alternative spaces in surrounding courtyards to allow performing pilgrimage without interruption and in peace and perfect order during these days.
