In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
"Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God; of them, some have fulfilled their vow, and some are still waiting, and they have not changed in the least". (Quran 33:23)
The funeral procession of the Martyred Leader—the rightful successor to the great founder of the Islamic Revolution—is not merely a farewell to a great leader; it is a manifestation of the unbreakable bond between the Martyred Leader and the people to whom he dedicated his entire life.
Accepting this great loss is difficult for everyone. However, as that righteous servant of God often stated, it is divine grace that reveals the faith and steadfastness of this nation in the face of hardship. This great yet humble leader, who embodied human dignity and defended the honor of the nation, dedicated his existence to the pride of Iran and the Islamic community. Ultimately, like his ancestor Imam Hussein, he sacrificed his life defending the identity of this land.
The tireless warrior often said that the most honorable title he held in his life was that of a servant of Imam Reza Shrine. Now, the time has come to lay his body to rest in this sacred place, which was truly his home, as his heart always beat for this shrine.
As a servant of Imam Reza Shrine, and from this holy site, I invite the noble, faithful, and committed people of Iran—especially residents and pilgrims in Mashhad—to participate with passion and steadfastness in the funeral ceremony for this wise leader. This presence will renew our allegiance to the teachings of the Prophet’s family, the school of leadership, and the high ideals of the Islamic Revolution, demonstrating our deep devotion to the Martyred Leader.
I also request all residents and pilgrims to uphold the culture of hospitality, maintaining order, calm, empathy, and cooperation with the staff during the ceremony. This ensures the event is held with the dignity befitting Imam Reza Shrine, the high status of this honest servant, and the greatness of the Iranian nation.
I pray to God, through the blessings of Imam Reza, for the high status of the deceased, the increasing dignity and power of Islamic Iran, and the continued success of the new Leader. May God grant us all the strength to remain steadfast on this luminous path.
