Pure blood of Minab School martyrs revealed true face of claimants of human rights: Custodian
The Custodian of Astan Qods Razavi says the pure blood of the martyrs, especially the martyrs of the Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab, has revealed more than ever the true face of the false claimants of human rights and the domineering powers of the world.

Ayat. Ahmad Marvi, in a meeting with the honorable family of the martyrs Reyhaneh and Mehdi Zakeri and a group of Imam Reza Shrine  servants dispatched to the war-stricken regions of the country, expressing sympathy and condolences to the grieving families, described the martyrs of the Shajareh Tayyebeh School as valuable assets for the Iranian nation. “Sometimes a person appears to have a short life, but the impact and blessings of that life are so extensive that they become lasting in history and change the path of a society”.
Giving an example to clarify the value of great human beings, he noted: “Among lands, some parcels may look small in appearance, but within them lie great and valuable mines; the value of such land is not in its apparent size but in the treasures hidden within it. Human beings are the same; some people may not live long, but their existence is full of value and blessing, and their influence remains in history”.
He added: “Your dear martyrs are of this kind—children who, although their apparent lifespan was short, their pure blood left such an impact on society that it awakened consciences around the world to the truth”.
The Custodian of Astan Qods Razavi, referring to the widespread reaction to this incident in world public opinion, said: “If we wanted to reveal the true face of America and the system of domination to the people of the world through thousands of hours of propaganda and heavy media costs, we might not have achieved such an effect. But the oppressed blood of these children and teenagers revealed the truth and showed what reality is hidden behind the glittering slogans of human rights, freedom, and democracy”.
He maintained: “Today many people around the world can clearly see how those who claim to defend human rights remain silent in the face of such crimes or even indirectly support the perpetrators. These behaviors have caused the true face of these powers to become more evident to global public opinion”.
Ayat. Marvi, emphasizing the historical and social effects of the martyrs’ pure blood, said: “Throughout history, the blood of martyrs has always been the source of awakening nations. Sometimes a single drop of a martyr’s blood can create a great transformation in society and change the future path of a nation, just as the pure blood of a great martyred leader breathed life into the body of society”.
He continued: “The pure bloodshed in the path of God and in defense of truth is not merely a passing event. This blood leaves its impact over time, awakens nations, and prepares the ground for major movements and even the nurturing of great leaders in society”.
The top official, referring to the connection between the culture of martyrdom and the school of Ashura, stressed: “In the logic of the Quran and Ahl al-Bayt (AS), a martyr never ceases to exist; rather, they are alive and sustained by their Lord. The effect of a martyr’s blood is not limited to a specific time; it flows throughout history and guides nations toward truth and justice”.
“Just as the blood of the martyrs of Karbala, after centuries, still inspires the free people of the world, the blood of martyrs in every era can also set society in motion and keep alive the spirit of resistance, dignity, and steadfastness among nations”, he added.
Ayat. Marvi, continuing his remarks and referring to the difference between materialistic societies and the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom, said: “In a world where many societies are entangled in hedonism, worldliness, and negligence of divine values, understanding the logic of sacrifice and martyrdom is not easy. Such societies cannot understand how people of faith sacrifice their lives to defend truth and divine values”.
He went on to say: “But in Islamic culture, martyrdom is the peak of servitude and a sign of the highest degree of faith, and martyrs, because of this lofty status, have a very elevated position in the presence of God”.
The Custodian of Astan Qods Razavi, honoring the patience and endurance of the families of martyrs, said: “The families of martyrs, with their patience and faith, play a major role in maintaining the path of the martyrs. Islamic society is always indebted to the blood of martyrs and the patience and endurance of their families”.
He added: “If today the Iranian nation stands with dignity and power against enemies, a significant part of this dignity is owed to the blood of the martyrs and the steadfastness of their families”.
Ayat. Marvi emphasized the need to promote the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom in society, saying: “We must strive to keep the memory of martyrs alive, especially among the younger generation, and to turn it into a dynamic and inspiring culture”.
AQR’s Custodian, continuing his remarks and stressing the necessity of honoring the pure blood of Minab School martyrs, ordered that preparations for three important and urgent measures be placed on the agenda.
Ayat. Marvi announced the first measure as the design and construction of the cemetery for the martyrs of this incident and stated: “The cemetery of these dear ones must be built in the best possible way and with the utmost beauty, dignity, and respect. This place is not just a burial ground; it is the resting place of the pure souls of the free and innocent children who lie there”.
He said that this space must become a comprehensive, central, and culturally pivotal complex. “We hope that with the artistry of the architects and designers of Astan Quds Razavi, this noble and sacred place will be built and adorned”.
The Custodian of Astan Qods Razavi described the second mission as hosting the honorable families of Minab martyrs at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) and added: “These dear families must be hosted one by one as guests of Imam Reza (AS)”.
He referred to the words of one of the martyrs’ mothers and said: “The mother of one of these martyrs said that every year the children brought their piggy banks to donate, but this year your children dedicated their lives to Imam Reza (AS)”.
The head of Astan Qods Razavi added: “These piggy banks must be preserved in Astan Quds Razavi as symbols of the love and devotion of the child martyrs toward Imam Reza (AS)”.
He announced the third measure as the construction of eight schools in underprivileged areas, to be named “Shajareh Tayyebeh Razavieh,” and said: “In the blessed name of the eighth infallible Imam, eight schools will be built in deprived areas, and Astan Quds Razavi will carry out this work”.
The Custodian of Astan Qods Razavi, stating that preparation for these three projects must begin immediately, added: “We hope that by carrying out these measures, we can play a small part in honoring the status of these innocent martyrs and expressing devotion to them”.
The martyred students Reyhaneh and Mehdi Zakeri, every year with the arrival of summer, traveled to Mashhad with their family, and during this trip, they offered the money from their piggy banks—the savings of a whole year’s allowance—to the shrine of Imam Reza (AS), a vow that this year, after their martyrdom, was fulfilled by their parents, and these piggy banks were presented to the shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in the presence of the Custodian of Astan Qods Razavi.
