International scholars examine human dignity and rights in light of Imam Reza’s teachings

Under the auspices of the secretariat of the 6th Imam Reza International Congress, an international specialized panel titled “Human Dignity and Rights in Light of the Monotheistic Foundations of Imam Reza and the Thoughts of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei: Combating Oppression and Establishing a Divine International Legal Order” will bring together prominent scholars, academic elites, and thinkers.
According to Zohreh Kharazmi, secretary of the international department of the congress, “The event focuses on human rights and dignity within the civilizational teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt, particularly Imam Reza.”
She noted: “The session aims to articulate the relationship among monotheistic foundations, justice, combating tyranny, and establishing a legal framework grounded in divine values.”
Kharazmi highlighted the international orientation of the panel, explaining: “Participants will explore Islamic perspectives on human rights and international relations, as well as the capacity of Imam Reza’s teachings to address contemporary global challenges.”
Outlining the key themes of the panel, Kharazmi remarked: “Confronting global arrogance and hegemonic systems based on Razavi teachings and the strategic thoughts of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei forms a core topic.”
She added: “Discussions will also center on the resistance front, unity and cohesion of the Islamic Ummah against global hegemony, modern Islamic civilization, the role of Iran as a fourth world power, and institutionalizing the principles of Imam Reza, particularly justice and human dignity.”
The international panel is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 17, from 08:00 to 18:00 Tehran time at Tabarsi Hall of the Islamic Research Foundation of AQR in Mashhad, northeastern Iran.
