AQR’s museums, libraries to hold a commemoration for Martyred Leader

Astan Qods Razavi’s Organization of Libraries, Museums and Documents Center has planned to hold special commemoration ceremonies with various programs for the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution from the time of his burial until the 40th day after his passing, says Seyyed Jalal Hosseini, head of the organization.

Hoj. Hosseini said: “In order to honor the memory of the Martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and to introduce a selection of his donated works to the library and museum, the Organization has prepared extensive scientific and cultural programs under the title of "Martyred Leader Commemoration" focusing on this lasting heritage”.
He added: “By holding these programs, the organization is striving to show the world a golden page of benevolent actions of the Martyred Leader in the field of preserving Iran’s cultural and historical heritage, especially the Islamic heritage”.
Hoj. Hosseini stated: “Unveiling of four specialized books focusing on works donated by the Martyred Leader including a manuscript catalog, a catalog of donated treasures, a bibliography of works, and a catalog of selected museum works that have recently been published, are among most prominent programs during this period”.
He went on to say: “Among these, unveiling of martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah’s ring, adorned with the seal attributed to Uthman ibn Saeid Omari, the first deputy of Imam Mahdi (AS), that is kept as one of the works donated to the Martyred Leader is of special importance”.
“Scientific meetings focusing on thoughts and role of the Martyred Leader in fields such as protection and restoration of heritage, civilization-building, and AQR cultural development of will be held with participation of Iranian salient researchers and experts”.
According to Hoj. Hosseini, various programs including painting and book-reading competitions, book-centered meetings, book exhibitions, and storytelling of tales of martyrs of Ramadan War will also be implemented in organization's affiliated libraries and public halls.
He went on to say: “Also during the same period, holding of artistic and historical programs such as a calligraphy workshop on poems and statements of the Martyred Leader at Razavi Museum Gallery, an exhibition of documents, and introduction of press focusing on the Leader of the Islamic Ummah will be seen in this organization”.
Elsewhere, Hoj. Hosseini said: “The organization has also utilized modern and digital capacities. The launch of a virtual tour of the treasury of gifts of the Martyred Leader and a virtual exhibition system in digital museum of this holy shrine, are among outstanding programs”.
He stated: “plans such as designing a museum-studies competition system focusing on works related to the gift treasury of the Martyred Leader and its implementation at he AQR digital museum service desk, and also designing occasion posters of works related to this treasury are on the agenda as well”.
Hoj. Hossein considered production of text, audio, and video content focusing on the Martyred Leader for distribution in cyberspace as another program of his organization from the time of his burial until the 40th day after his passing.
