Khorasan Razavi Social Security Organization treatment director visits Imam Reza Dar al-Shifa

Ali Rezazadeh, Treatment Director of the Khorasan Razavi Social Security Organization, paid an official visit to Imam Reza Dar al-Shifa, where he was hosted by Mahdi Soltanifar, CEO of Astan Qods Razavi’s Medical Institute.

During the visit, Rezazadeh praised Dar al-Shifa’s constructive interaction with the Social Security Organization and said that the order, tranquility, quality of service delivery, and pharmacy services at the facility were worthy of appreciation.
Accompanied by a group of managers and experts from the Khorasan Razavi Social Security Organization, Dr. Rezazadeh visited various departments of the medical center and discussed its capacities and services, as well as areas for expanding cooperation with Mahdi Soltanifar, CEO of AQR Medical Institute. 
At the beginning of the meeting, Soltanifar referred to the history of the medical center, saying: “AQR Medical Institute was established to provide comprehensive services to pilgrims and residents of the holy Razavi Shrine. Dar al-Shifa is one of the endowments of Imam Reza Shrine, and the history of this medical center dates back to 931 AH.”
The CEO of AQR Medical Institute then gave a report on the services provided at the center, saying: “Emergency services, general practitioner consultations, injections, and other necessary medical services are provided at Imam Reza Shrine’s Dar al-Shifa.”
Referring to the presence of specialist physicians at the center, Soltanifar added: “Patients at Dar al-Shifa can benefit from the services of experienced physicians in a wide range of specialties, including cardiology, internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, psychiatry, gynecology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dermatology, gastroenterology, urology, neurology, infectious diseases, and endocrinology.”
He also pointed to the presence of emergency medicine specialists and the provision of 24-hour radiology services using digital radiography (DR) equipment, as well as 24-hour pharmacy services, injection, IV therapy and dressing services, dentistry, laboratory services, occupational medicine, optometry, and social work as other services provided at the center.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Soltanifar referred to the number of services given during Arbaeen ceremony and stated: “According to the statistics given by Dar al-Shifa emergency department, around three thousand pilgrims benefited from Dar al-Shifa and emergency bases inside the holy shrine on the day of Arbaeen. Also, 6 mobile teams were added and 4 fixed stations were also considered for providing medical and emergency services during this important occasion”. 
Following this meeting and referring to hosting of Dar al-Shifa during special days and occasions, treatment director of Social Security Organization stated: “Performance of Dar al-Shifa in serving visitors is admirable. What attracts the most attention during this visit is order and tranquility prevailing in the complex; a tranquility that is well observed in various departments of Dar al-Shifa, the pharmacy, and service delivery environments”.
Rezazadeh added: “The existing order is not limited only to physical space of the complex, but is also seen in the way staff operate, how they respond to visitors, and management of service delivery process”.
He also praised performance of Dar al-Shifa’s pharmacy and said: “The order prevailing in the pharmacy, appropriate speed in providing services, and the way staff interact with visitors are among strengths of this complex. Satisfaction of visitors with services provided and appropriate behavior of colleagues were clearly visible, and a smile of satisfaction was seen on the faces of many service recipients”.
The official continued: “Maintaining tranquility in a medical complex, especially during times of increased visits and on special occasions, requires precise management, coordination between units, and continuous effort. Dar al-Shifa of Imam Reza (AS) has performed favorably in this regard and has been able to provide an organized, calm, and worthy environment for serving pilgrims and neighbors”.
