A large crowd gathered at Imam Reza Shrine, joining similar events held across the country, where people from different age groups, from young children to elderly devotees, took part in the gathering.
Religious reciters performed epic chants honoring the Ahl al‑Bayt. Their recitations created an atmosphere filled with themes of perseverance, devotion, and sacrifice throughout the courtyards of the shrine.
During the ceremony, attendants and shrine servants raised the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The display symbolized the determination and unity of a nation that remains steadfast in defending what it considers its principles.
Hoj. Daneshmand, the event’s speaker, referred to the teachings of Imam Hussein and quoted Martyr Qassem Soleimani’s well‑known statement that Iranians are “a nation of martyrdom.”
He stated: “The current war goes beyond political disputes and represents a deeper ideological struggle centered on religious beliefs and the concept of the promised reappearance of Imam Mahdi”.
He also criticized narratives circulating on social media and hostile media outlets, saying: “They misrepresent Iranian society. The real image of the country can be seen in citizens who gather publicly and express their views and commitments”.
The speaker also addressed the martyrdom of late Leader Ayat. Seyyed Ali Khamenei, described as the rightful vicegerent of Imam Mahdi. “Despite the heavy loss, the leadership structure continues and has been renewed with the selection of Ayat. Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei”.
In the final part of his remarks, Hoj. Daneshmand emphasized that unity and solidarity are stronger than any weapon. “Public participation in such gatherings is a sign of collective resolve and commitment to shared ideals”.
The ceremony concluded with chants and expressions of renewed allegiance to the ideals of the Islamic Guardianship and the martyrs.
