Imam Reza Shrine Celebrates Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA)
Imam Reza Shrine celebrates the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA), revered daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with an extensive spatial design project throughout the complex.

Speaking on implementation of an extensive spatial design project on the eve of the auspicious birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA), Seyed Javad Mousavi, head of the Spatial Design Department of Imam Reza Shrine, said: “All the courtyards and porticos of the Razavi Holy Shrine have been specially decorated to make the complex a manifestation of the enthusiasm and joy of the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS).”
Mousavi added: “In this project, the space of the holy shrine was adorned with hundreds of inscriptions, flags, and fabrics inscribed with the name of Hazrat Zahra (SA).”
He noted: “The project aims to create a manifestation of the collective love of pilgrims for Hazrat Zahra (SA) and to strengthen the spiritual spirit and Fatimid insight within the complex.”
The head of the Spatial Design Department of Imam Reza Shrine explained: “Two main inscriptions were placed in the porticos of the Enghelab Eslami and Azadi courtyards, highlighting the qualities of Hazrat Fatima (SA).”
He continued: “Vertical inscriptions were regularly placed in various courtyards, with 14 inscriptions installed in the Enghelab Eslami courtyard, 16 in the Azadi courtyard, 10 in the Jomhouri Eslami courtyard, and 10 in the Goharshad Grand Mosque courtyard as part of this project.”
Mousavi concluded: “More than 60 flags have been installed on the columns of the Holy Prophet Courtyard, in addition to a large 100-meter mural.”
Hamidreza Salimi, the expert in charge of environmental decorations and floral arrangements at Imam Reza Shrine, stated: “An extensive floral arrangement project was carried out at the holy shrine of Imam Reza, using over 30,000 bushes and branches of diverse natural flowers, all of which were donated by flower and plant producers.”
According to him, the floral arrangement process was carried out with the close cooperation of nearly 200 honorary servants from the floral arrangement section and a group of florists and flower producers from Mashhad and Tehran.
