A large group of pilgrims turned out on March 1 at Imam Reza shrine to mourn the martyrdom of the Late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayat. Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, who lost his life in his office in Tehran in Israeli-US strikes.
The ceremony, which started with Qur’anic recitation and a sermon, focused on the religious principles of the current resistance against the arrogant powers.
In his latest speech (delivered on January 28), the late Leader outlined the people's persistent resistance against the global arrogance, stating: "The Iranian nation perfectly knows its Islamic and Shia lessons. Following in Imam Hussein’s footsteps, a nation as historical as Iranians, with an elevated culture, will never bow to the depraved leaders who are presently in power in the US".
At the end of the ceremony, the participants renewed their allegiance to the ideals of Imam Khomeini, and the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and urged the Iranian nation to unite in order to foil the enemies' plots.
