AQR kicks off 1st Intl event of Razavi Azan
Astan Qods Razavi’s Dar al-Quran office has announced call for the first international Razavi Azan (Call for Prayer), titled “Golbang-e Haram” (anthem of the shrine), coinciding with the Karamat Ten-Day festivities.
Mohammad Moghavemi, head of Dar al-Quran office of Imam Reza Shrine stated: "The call for the first international Razavi Azan is announced during Karamat Ten-Day celebrations with two main axes of identifying and selecting top Azan reciters and producing exceptional Azan melodies befitting the holy shrine”.
Moghavemi added: "This major event is being held to elevate the Shia Azan and to produce a superior and glorious Razavi call for prayer inviting all interested people to participate in this major call."
He further noted: "The event will award 200 million tomans for first winner, 150 million tomans for second winner, and 100 million tomans for third winner”.
Moghavemi emphasized: "Those interested in participating the event can visit https://haram.razavi.ir or the event channel at Golbang_Haram@ on Eitaa messenger platform not later than late June this year.
