Jafar Raisianzadeh, Deputy for Social Services at Karamat Razavi Foundation, which operates under the aegis of Astan Qods Razavi (AQR), the organization in charge of Imam Reza Shrine, announced that all service, welfare, and public support capacities have been fully mobilized. “A vast network of service stations, accommodation centers, drinking water fountains, and roadside complexes will operate for three days to facilitate the event”.
Raisianzadeh stated: “Serving pilgrims and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt has always been a primary mission of this foundation. We have implemented comprehensive planning for welfare and accommodation to ensure mourners can participate in this spiritual ceremony with ease.”
Major service hubs, including the Dar al-Kerama station and the Physical Education Institute station, will provide continuous lodging and food distribution. Additionally, Bagh Khatoun camp and Imam Reza Shrine guesthouses have been prepared to accommodate large crowds, alongside 30 volunteer service stations established in the streets surrounding the Imam Reza Shrine.
To address food requirements during the ceremonies, the central bakery of the foundation has scaled operations to produce 600,000 loaves of bread daily. This output will support the various stations and direct distribution efforts.
Furthermore, 20 roadside complexes across the Khorasan provinces are now fully operational, each capable of hosting 3,000 pilgrims per day. These efforts, supported servant assistants and volunteer forces, aim to reflect the foundation's dedication to dignified hospitality. The foundation remains committed to managing these logistics with precision to ensure all visitors are well-served during this time of national mourning.
