Imam Reza Intl. Congress Secretariat extends submission deadline 

The Secretariat of the Sixth Imam Reza International Congress has extended the deadlines for submission of abstracts and papers, following requests from researchers and academics and in view of current conditions.
According to the announcement, made under the direction of Hoj. Saeed Reza Ameli, secretary of the congress, scholars now have until November 21, 2026, to submit their extended abstracts. The final deadline for submission of full papers has been set for December 21, 2026.
The sixth edition of the congress will revisit the teachings of the Prophet’s household, with particular focus on Imam Reza, through a comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and issue-oriented approach centered on human rights and human dignity. 
Organizers say the event seeks to offer responses to some of the pressing challenges facing the contemporary world.
The congress themes are organized across six fields: innate and divine foundations, ontological issues, epistemological and philosophical questions, social issues, political, civil and citizenship matters, and ethics. 
Researchers are invited to explore human rights and human dignity in the thought and conduct of Imam Reza from a variety of perspectives.
Among the key themes are the foundations of human dignity and human rights in the conduct of Imam Reza, the concept of reason in his life and debates, family rights and the rights of social groups, political justice and accountable governance, citizenship rights, environmental rights, economic justice, civic ethics, constructive dialogue, and professional and media ethics.
The secretariat described the congress as a platform for scholarly dialogue among thinkers and social actors beyond geographic and identity boundaries, aimed at drawing on the legacy of Imam Reza to advance ethical reason, social justice, elevated human life, and intercultural dialogue.
Extended abstracts must be at least 1,000 words and include the main arguments, methodology, and significance of the research. 
Submissions will be accepted only through the official congress website. The exact date of the congress, previously postponed, will be announced later.
